Also not all may have the holes in the underframe to accommodate the brake shoes. If you are purchasing this item for your 0‑4‑2T, be sure to check it before purchasing to ensure it can be accommodated by your engine. Athearn discontinued manufacturing them in 2009, so they are becoming scarce and hard to find. With Athearn’s purchase of Model Die Casting, Inc., the MDC/Roundhouse kits have also been discontinued and are no longer available.
