This door sensor unit produces a non-offensive sound to notify you that someone has entered or passed through the monitored zone. ENTRANCE ALERT DOOR CHIME OPERATION: Simply install a 9V battery (not included), select the desired chime sound (or use default setting) & mount the wireless motion sensor door chime over the entry way using the included mounting bracket, adjust the lens angle to cover the area you want to cover. When the wireless door sensor with chime detects the combination of movement & heat (passive infrared, PIR) it triggers the unit to emit a sound. This wireless doorbell system works great for door that aren’t always closed or a hallway area where a contact entrance sensor could not be used. With this product, the sound emits from the device itself using the enclosed speaker.
