Vintage 1983 Bell Laboratories UNIX PROGRAMMER'S MANUAL Revised and Expanded Versions Volumes 1 & 2
Each soft covered, three-hole punched book measures 8 1/4 by 11 inches, Volume 1 has 425 pages and is in very good condition. Volume 2 has 616 pages and is in good condition with slightly more rubbing wear on the covers than Volume 1. Each book has a name written neatly in red ink on the title page (see photos 2 and 6). The interiors are clean. The pages edges have slightly tanned. However, they are free from writings, marks or stains and are secure to the binding.
The UNIX Programmer’s Manual is a manual that gives complete descriptions of all the publicly available features of UNIX. It provides neither a general overview nor details of the implementation of the system. Within the area it surveys, this manual attempts to be as complete and timely as possible.
